Mechu, Birmingham
Went to Mechu in Birmingham yesterday. The bar is quite nice but perhaps cater for a different age group. Loads of middle aged people. We even saw a granny!! One funny thing. I found out yesterday after 5 years in the UK that there is a "petting corner" in clubs here? Oops, I went to this so called corner to rest and take pictures. Just barely recovered from the battle of the viruses in my body so I didn't want to drink in the fear of getting sick again. Pics! My top very big and loose ler..tats why I look fat in the pics..(excuse?)
I am so under pressure to write something for my supervisor. I like pressure when it is applied in order to drive me to produce results which I know I am capable of producing. However, I absolutely hate it when I am pressurised to do something I am not really capable of doing. For eg, I recall this incident quite a while back in which I was driving some people out to "X place". In the car:
XXX: Let's not go to "X place". Let's go to Y place.
Yen: No la. I never driven there before. Don't know the way.
XXX: I show you. Please la."X place" damm sulks blablablablabla...........
Yen: Ermmm..I think better not. I can't drive well one.
XXX: OK, I drive your car then.
At the end, I gave in. In a way, I was coerced into driving to this place. Ok,maybe at that time I was driving my old car so if any damage was done still ok. What if I was driving my bro's RX7? my mum's four wheel?my dad's mercedes? Scatterbrained.. Friends who know me well should know how good my driving skills are which is why they will never "duress" me to drive anywhere. Eh, detracted a bit..sorry.. but my point just now was I love working under pressure sometimes. It makes me extra organised.
